(The Note in the Book)
Hugo fue a la biblioteca para estudiar.
Hugo went to the library to study.
Cogió un libro de historia y se sentó en su mesa favorita, la del rincón.
He took a history book and sat at his favourite table, the one in the corner.
Cuando abrió el libro, encontró una nota escrita a lápiz.
When he opened the book, he found a note written in pencil.
La nota decía: <<Si lees esto, espero que tengas un buen día.
The note said: <<If you read this, I hope you have a good day.
La persona del rincón.>>
The person in the corner.>>
Hugo sonrió.
Hugo smiled.
Escribió una respuesta debajo: <<Gracias.
He wrote a reply underneath: <<Thank you.
Ahora mi día es mejor.
Now my day is better.
¿Quién eres?>> Devolvió el libro a la estantería.
Who are you?>> He returned the book to the shelf.

The following week, Hugo came back and looked for the same book.

They had a coffee together.
