(The Secret Dinner)
Un viernes, seis personas recibieron una invitación misteriosa.
One Friday, six people received a mysterious invitation.
La carta decía: Está usted invitado a una cena especial en el restaurante La Luna.
The letter said: You are invited to a special dinner at the restaurant La Luna.
Todo es gratis.
Everything is free.
Venga solo.
Come alone.
Los seis llegaron al restaurante a las nueve de la noche.
The six arrived at the restaurant at nine in the evening.
No se conocían entre ellos.
They didn't know each other.
Había un profesor, una enfermera, un taxista, una estudiante, un cocinero y una abogada.
There was a teacher, a nurse, a taxi driver, a student, a cook and a lawyer.
Todos estaban nerviosos y curiosos.
Everyone was nervous and curious.
La comida fue deliciosa.
The food was delicious.
Durante la cena, empezaron a hablar.
During the dinner, they started to talk.

The teacher said: Last month, I helped an old lady cross the street.
