Llovía con fuerza aquella tarde de octubre en Granada.
It was raining hard that October afternoon in Granada.
Sofía corría por la Carrera del Darro sin paraguas, intentando proteger con las manos el libro que acababa de comprar.
Sofía was running along the Carrera del Darro without an umbrella, trying to protect with her hands the book she had just bought.
De repente, alguien la cubrió con un paraguas negro. <<Vas a destrozar ese libro>>, dijo una voz a su lado.
Suddenly, someone covered her with a black umbrella. <<You are going to ruin that book>>, said a voice beside her.
Era un chico alto con ojos oscuros que sonreía como si la conociera de toda la vida.
He was a tall young man with dark eyes who smiled as if he had known her all his life.
