Pablo empezó a trabajar como camarero en un restaurante elegante de Madrid.
Pablo started working as a waiter in an elegant restaurant in Madrid.
Era su primer día.
It was his first day.
El jefe le dijo: <<Este restaurante es muy importante.
The boss told him: <<This restaurant is very important.
Los clientes son personas famosas.
The customers are famous people.
No puedes cometer errores.>> Pablo estaba muy nervioso.
You cannot make mistakes.>> Pablo was very nervous.
Sus manos temblaban.
His hands were shaking.
El primer cliente pidió una sopa.
The first customer ordered a soup.
Pablo llevó la sopa a la mesa, pero tropezó con una silla.
Pablo carried the soup to the table, but he tripped over a chair.
La sopa voló por el aire y cayó en el regazo de una señora.
The soup flew through the air and fell on a lady's lap.

Al final de la noche, el jefe llamó a Pablo.
At the end of the night, the boss called Pablo.
Pablo pensó que lo iba a despedir.
Pablo thought he was going to fire him.
Pero el jefe se reía.
But the boss was laughing.

He said: <<The lady with the soup is a restaurant critic.
Ha escrito que somos el restaurante más divertido de Madrid.
She has written that we are the funniest restaurant in Madrid.
Tenemos reservas para tres meses.>> Pablo no podía creerlo.
We have reservations for three months.>> Pablo could not believe it.
A veces los errores traen buena suerte.
