(The Perfect Breakfast)
Es sábado por la mañana.
It is Saturday morning.
Carlos quiere preparar el desayuno perfecto para su familia.
Carlos wants to prepare the perfect breakfast for his family.
Tiene un plan: tostadas, huevos fritos y leche caliente.
He has a plan: toast, fried eggs, and hot milk.
Hoy voy a ser el mejor cocinero, dice Carlos.
Today I am going to be the best cook, says Carlos.
Primero, pone el pan en la tostadora.
First, he puts the bread in the toaster.
Pero habla por teléfono y no mira el pan.
