Lucía vive en Granada, cerca de la Alhambra.
Lucía lives in Granada, near the Alhambra.
Hoy llega a casa después del trabajo.
Today she arrives home after work.
Busca su llave en el bolso.
She looks for her key in her bag.
No está.
It isn’t there.
¿Dónde está mi llave?, dice Lucía.
Where is my key? says Lucía.
Mira en los bolsillos de su chaqueta.
She looks in the pockets of her jacket.
No está allí.
It isn’t there.
Mira debajo de la alfombra.
She looks under the mat.
No está allí tampoco.
It isn’t there either.
Su vecino sale de su casa.
Her neighbour comes out of his house.
¿Estás bien, Lucía?, pregunta.
Are you OK, Lucía? he asks.
No encuentro mi llave, dice ella.
I can’t find my key, she says.
El vecino mira la mano de Lucía y ríe.
The neighbour looks at Lucía’s hand and laughs.
Lucía... la llave está en tu mano.
Lucía... the key is in your hand.
Lucía mira su mano.
Lucía looks at her hand.
¡La llave está allí!
The key is there!
Ella ríe también.
She laughs too.
¡Qué tonta!
