(The Fountain)
En una plaza de Córdoba hay una fuente muy antigua.
In a square in Córdoba there is a very old fountain.
Un hombre viejo se sienta allí todos los días.
An old man sits there every day.
Se llama don Rafael.
His name is Don Rafael.
Hoy hace sol y la plaza está tranquila.
Today it is sunny and the square is quiet.
Don Rafael escucha el agua de la fuente.
Don Rafael listens to the water from the fountain.
Es un sonido que le gusta mucho.
It is a sound that he likes a lot.
Una niña se acerca y pregunta: Señor, ¿por qué viene aquí todos los días?
